We are a 501C3 organization. All donations are tax deductible according to the Internal Revenue Service (2023). Your donations go towards the upkeep of the Ocosta Recreation Hall.

This facility provides a meeting place for events such as weddings, memorials, birthday parties, and meetings.

For the past 50 years, the Ocosta Recreation Hall has been a place where our community comes together. It has hosted weddings, birthdays, holiday celebrations, community meetings, fundraisers, and countless memories. As we celebrate this milestone anniversary, we have an opportunity to invest in the next generation by creating a safe, welcoming outdoor recreation space for families and visitors.

The Ocosta Recreation Hall Association is launching the Ocosta Community Park Project, a phased effort to improve the grounds surrounding the Rec Hall. Our vision includes:

• A new community playground
• A resurfaced basketball and pickleball court
• Benches for families and spectators
• A bike rack
• Native landscaping
• A simple walking path connecting the park to the Rec Hall

This project is designed to be practical, durable, and well-suited for our coastal environment. Much of the work will be completed through volunteer labor, allowing every donated dollar to have a greater impact.

Our goal is not to build the biggest park. Our goal is to create a place where children can play safely, neighbors can gather, and families can continue making memories for generations to come.
